Weakness:
Griffins possess no additional powers aside from their added strength, endurance and agility. As such, they can be taken down like any other animal, be it from bullets or an infected cut.

Major skills:
Flying for hours on end without tiring. He can’t fly absurdly high, but flight is flight.
Possesses superior strength, can rip things up with relative ease though harder materials such as rocks, metals, gems and the like barely get scratched and anything harder than steel is beyond him.
He can create a strong wave of wind to ward away any enemies/ distract them. 
Runs two times faster than a normal human can. 

Minor skills:
His feathers and claws have medicinal properties. Not that he’ll let you pluck them for no reason. 
Has small control over the wind element, thanks to some spells he learned. 
 Lesser Aquatic Adaptation: This monster has the ability to hold their breath for extended periods of time under water, up to a full hour (that's almost as long as some blue whales). In addition the monster can now see in water without goggles or other viewing apparatus.
Sure Footed Stride:This monster is incredibly at keeping it's footing under adverse conditions, able to resist inclement weather conditions that might otherwise rob them of stable footing. Also this monster increases the amount of distance they can fall without getting hurt.
Well Grounded :This monster has the innate ability to ground themselves, allowing them to avoid harmful mundane shocks and electricity, as well as provide some resistance to more powerful shocks (would still not recommend getting hit by lightning or grabbing a downed power line)
Resolve of Stone: This monster has earned the ability to keep cool and collected under pressure (even if they don't show it on the outside). When there back is to the wall they have the determination to keep on going, giving them the ability to shrug off mundane discouragements and take twice as long to fatigue physically.

Manipulate Water: A water sprite can manipulate water through the air as long as she has access to a pool or source of it. They mostly use this in helping clean the school and can perform minor chores because of it. Also they inherently know where the closes body of drinkable water is.

Wispy Flight: By turning itself into a semi ephemeral state (half there half not) a Air sprite can zip around and fly about, squeezing through small openings and the like. Unfortunately while in this state they are heavily affected by prevailing winds and must be careful not to be blown away.

Minor Skill: Limited Tremorsense: A Geodeling doesn't really see, but can feel vibrations in the ground to sense it's surroundings. A Geodeling can sense an object or being within a 10 foot radius around it as long as the thing in question is in contact with a surface the Geodeling touches.

Character’s Background:
Aristaeus was brought up in regular family of griffins. Relatively normal life, if you can consider learning how to fight and protect normal. At around 50 years of age, he found a mate. Sadly, his mate was found and killed by hunters twenty years later. Her body was torn apart and sold separately at auctions for absurdly high prices. Enraged, Aristaeus hunted down the ones who murdered his beloved and cut them down where the stood. Taken over by the need for revenge, he went berserk, going so far as to take down those who bought parts of his mate as well as those who were healed by his mate’s claws and feathers. Eventually, he calmed down and went into hiding for a few year, whether because he was afraid someone would chase him down in vengeance or because he was horrified at what he’d done, not even he knows. He returned home after that only to find that his entire family had left the place and all that was left was a desolate wasteland. He spent the next years simply wandering around, looking for his family and eventually giving up. Upon a mysterious invitation, he discovered Monsters Academy and, by then completely bored out of his mind and more than a little desperate for company, he’d accepted the invite.

Script: Chris: *he takes his own sweet time to walk up the stairs, accompanied by the echoes of his footsteps.* ..... *the stairs ended at a metal door, and he pushed it open slowly. The evening breeze swept over him and through his hair as he emerges onto the roof of the building, surrounded by the orange-stained sky.* ... Just in time. *a small smile spreads across his face as he sat down on the edge of the roof, legs dangling in the air. Every sunset is different, and he can't afford to miss any of them. And so he sat and watched till the the sky turned dark.*
